Join an advanced interactive learning experience designed specifically for 8-12 years students who have completed Astronomy 101 or have equivalent background knowledge. Our 12 week course combines hands-on activities, engaging discussions, and practical exercises to make learning fun and memorable. Each session is carefully structured to maintain engagement while building deeper knowledge and advanced critical thinking skills. Students will work both independently and in small groups to explore complex astronomical concepts and apply their learning.

Introduction to the Sun & Planets and their various characteristics.
Week 2
Motion of Sun, Moon. Solar/Lunar Eclipses, Length of Day/Night
Week 3
Newton and Kepler's Laws of Motion
Week 4
How telescopes gather light, telescope types, simple optics concepts
Week 5
Introduction to the Basic Telescope, Different types, uses, advantages/disadvantages.
Week 6
Radio, Infra-red, Ultraviolet, X-Rays, etc
Week 7
Intro to advanced telescopes, Different types, uses, advantages/disadvantages
Week 8
Introduction to the night sky, Various constellations, Simple navigation techniques
Week 9
Introduction to the night sky, Various constellations, Simple navigation techniques
Week 10
White/brown/red dwarfs, Main Sequence, Red Giant, etc.
Week 11
Composition– Dust, Star Clusters, Black Holes
Week 12
Learn & Explore methodologies of finding distances using the Parallax method
